"Full Synthetic" Is A Marketing Word. Not A Formula.
Here's the thing that surprises most folks: two jugs on the same shelf can both say 100% Full Synthetic and be built from completely different base stocks with completely different additive budgets. The label is regulated a lot less than you'd hope.

Will using AMSOIL void my factory warranty?
No. In the United States the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal to tie warranty coverage to a specific brand of parts or lubricants. A manufacturer that requires their brand has to provide it free of charge, and they can't deny a claim without showing the aftermarket product actually caused the failure.

AMSOIL costs more per quart. How is that cheaper?
